Bandar Abbas might not have a nightlife scene that is more alive than in some other Iranian cities but it provides an option for those who want to experience something unique and calm in the local culture after dark.

The creation of Bandar Abbas demonstrates diverse histories and cultures - a true melting pot. Bandar Abbas is especially significant because it lies at the East-West crossroads where all empires would converge. In the past few hundred years, there have been many different inhabitants in what is now called ‘Bandar Abbas’, at some point even including Christian missionaries.
